6 Egg Yolks
3/4 White Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
|0.45 Kg of Mascarpone Cheese|
|2 Tablespoons of Rum||1/4 Cup Of Brewed Coffee|
2/3 Cup Milk
1 1/4 Cups Of Heavy Cream
|1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Powder||85 Grams Ounces of Ladyfinger Cookies|
- Take a medium wide saucepan, and whisk egg yolks and sugar together until they are well blended. Add milk and whisk them over medium heat until the mixture is boiled. Let the mixture boil for a minute, and then remove them from the stove to let them cool slightly and let them cool in a refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Take another medium bowl and beat the heavy cream with vanilla extract until it gains a stiff form. Do the same for the Mascarpone cheese and whisk into a yolk consistency until its smooth.
- In a small bowl, combine coffee and rum and drizzle them over split ladyfingers cut in half
- Arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers in bottom of a 7×11 inch dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over ladyfingers, then half of the whipped cream over that. Repeat layers and sprinkle with cocoa. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 6 hours, until set.
